The Twelve Apostles are limestone stacks off the shore of Port Campbell National Park, by the Great Ocean Road, Victoria, Australia. Their proximity to one another has made the site a popular tourist location. Seven of the original eight stacks remain standing after one collapsed in July 2005. They were created by erosion of the limestone cliffs by pounding seas and extreme weather from the Southern Ocean.
