Montague Island Nature Reserve which lies just off the coast of Narooma is home to hundreds of Australian and New Zealand fur seals and more than 90 bird species. These seals have come into the quiet waters of Wagonga Inlet to rest on the southern breakwall. They are a special sight to watch as they clown around and relax in the clear waters of the channel.
